RIA Welcomes New Board Members and Names New Executive Team

The Running Industry Association (RIA) has elected four new members to its Board of Directors (Board), comprised of retailers, brands and associate (non-endemic) members. Members voted to appoint three new retail members and one new brand member to fill the open seats on the Board and serve three-year terms.

RIA membership elected Stacy Chick, Altra; Tom Mansfield, Charm City Run; Toni Reese, Running Lab; and Nathan Hohenstein, Tortoise and Hare Sports, to the Board.

The RIA Board will be led by a new executive team, including:

• President: Eric Contreras, Runners Plus
• Vice President: Jess Reid, Lex Running Shop
• Treasurer: Kyle Brady, Naperville Running Company
• Co-Strategic Leads: Elyse Braner, Pacers Running, and Kim Furnari, Brooks Running.

The Board reported that it is “excited to expand on RIA’s goals, enhance member benefits, plan an impactful 2026 RIA Summit, and, most importantly, listen to member feedback.” SGB
