Rhode Races 10th Anniversary Celebration Kicks Off

Commemorating a decade of growth, Rhode Races celebrates ten years of community impact across Rhode Island

WARREN, R.I. (December 3, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Rhode Races Events is celebrating its 10th anniversary season, marking a decade of community connection, endurance excellence and giving back across the Ocean State. Since its founding in 2015, the Rhode Races series has welcomed over 70,000 runners to Rhode Island’s scenic towns and coastlines, strengthening local partnerships and supporting charitable causes along the way. Throughout the milestone year, Rhode Races will host special events and activations to thank the community and its visitors for their continued support.

To officially kick off the anniversary year, organizers will host a celebration party Feb. 18, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. to thank supporters and honor the community that has powered ten years of Rhode Races. The kick off party will include various giveaways, food and beverages and charitable components. Throughout the season, the team will also be spotlighting legacy runners who have completed all ten years, along with highlights of dedicated volunteers, Rhode Crew members and key community partners who have helped shape its success.

Rhode Races is the producer of many of Rhode Island’s most beloved endurance events, including Providence Rhode Races, Independence Half Marathon in Bristol, the Ocean State Marathon in Narragansett and Newport Rhode Races, an event that Rhode Races grew into the largest running event in Rhode Island in just eight years. In celebration of the milestone anniversary, each event will feature enhanced participant and spectator experiences, including motivational miles dedicated to charitable partners and community heroes, upgraded cheer zones and exclusive 10th-anniversary swag. Runners and spectators can also look forward to fun surprises and “easter eggs” woven throughout the season as they celebrate a decade of Rhode Race’s spirit and community connection.

As part of the anniversary season, Rhode Races will also unveil a special 10-year anniversary logo, along with an updated website to reflect its growth and continued commitment to runners across the state.
