Registration Challenge Family The Championship has opened: ‘Happy to focus on 2021’

With enthusiasm, passion and an enormous drive to create a beautiful event, CHALLENGE FAMILY is looking forward to 22nd/23rd May 2021: at these dates, CHALLENGE FAMILY THE CHAMPIONSHIP will take place. Registration for this flagship event has just opened.

“We are delighted that after this bizarre year and having to cancel the 2020 edition, we can now look forward to next year. Our focus is on 2021 and setting up an unforgettable event. Also, we are very happy with our close cooperation with the x-bionic® sphere, the amazing team and the volunteers involved. We appreciate all the effort of the team and volunteers in the past tough months”, says Race Director Tomas Vrzak.

“The Try-Athlon, Sprint, Olympic Distance and Kids Run will take place on May 22nd. CHALLENGE FAMILY THE CHAMPIONSHIP Middle Distance and the Open Series Middle Distance will follow on May 23rd. All courses will be the same as last year’s, giving athletes the opportunity to compare their times and results from then to now. Of course, everyone as spectators will also be able to enjoy an enormously strong pro field during the pro races.”

Registrations are open: limited capacity

Registration has been opened immediately and there is limited capacity. Athletes who have asked for a 2021 registration transfer will be contacted by email with further instructions. “If you want to take part in this wonderful race, I advise everyone to register as soon as possible. About CHALLENGE FAMILY THE CHAMPIONSHIP

THE CHAMPIONSHIP counts as the apotheosis of CHALLENGE FAMILY season to be held on May 22nd and 23rd, 2021. For professional athletes, THE CHAMPIONSHIP 2021 will carry a minimum € 150,000,- prize purse. An unique professional qualifying system enables professional athletes to qualify for THE CHAMPIONSHIP 2021 via CHALLENGE FAMILY events worldwide.

Age Group athletes will have the opportunity to qualify with a top six Age Group finish at any CHALLENGE FAMILY event worldwide during the qualification period. Top 6 teams in the male, female and mixed categories in relay events will qualify for THE CHAMPIONSHIP at CHALLENGE FAMILY events. Slots will roll down in each Age Group and relay category up to 12th place. There won’t be a roll down system for the pros.
