Punch Gunk Announces Go Get It Grant Judges

Pain relief brand’s founders, plus two endurance influencers and insiders to select winners

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Punch Gunk, the award-winning performance therapeutics company shaking up the pain relief and workout recovery industry, has announced the judging panel that will help determine the recipients of their inaugural Go Get It Grants. The panel will include Ken Lubin, Meg Treat, Cameron McIntyre and Nadene McIntyre.

Ken Lubin is the founder and creator of Executive Athletes and the host of the Executive Athletes podcast. Lubin is an accomplished endurance, obstacle course, and adventure racing competitor. His athletic resume includes winning the Spartan Death Race and the Tuckerman Inferno, as well as being a member of the World Champion Spartan Obstacle Race Team.

Lubin was also a NCAA Division 1 Athlete for alpine and nordic skiing and a National Championships competitor in cycling. In all that he does, Lubin inspires others to push beyond their perceived limits and achieve success in life, business and sport. Lubin resides in Boston, Massachusetts.

Meg Treat, APR, is the owner and principal of Treat Public Relations, a PR agency specializing in events, products, and services for endurance athletes. As an influencer and insider in the endurance space, Treat is no stranger to engaging with both professional and elite athletes working towards exciting goals. Treat is a five-time marathoner, ultramarathoner, triathlete and general fitness enthusiast who is working towards the goal of running a marathon in all fifty states. Treat is a member of Punch Gunk’s public relations team. Treat is located in Orange County, California.

Cameron and Nadene McIntyre are the husband and wife team behind Punch Gunk. The McIntyres were both raised in Southern California, attended college in the southland, and call Los Angeles home. They continue to manage Punch Gunk in tandem, with Cameron leading day-to-day operations. Alongside Punch Gunk, Nadene remains a leader with a global brand in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Nadene is an award-winning amateur bodybuilder who has now turned her attention to boxing. Cameron, a sailor since childhood, has logged over 10,000 miles of ocean racing. Together, they have summited over 4500m in Peru’s Urubamba mountain range.

Athletes and teams were able to request financial assistance for upcoming athletic endeavors from the total fund of $2500, and could be for any kind of expense, including permits, entry fees, equipment, or travel. Judges will be considering how athletes are preparing, the uniqueness and scale of their event or endeavour, and their ability to share and represent Punch Gunk’s brand values.
