The U.K.-based company aims to be the most sustainable performance sportswear company in existence setting new pathways that move the industry toward a more sustainable future. Pressio will exhibit its 2023 product collection for the first time in the U.S. at The Running Event in Austin, Texas Nov. 29 – Dec. 1, 2022.
Designed to perform and preserve, Pressio was founded and introduced to the European markets in 2021 by Jamie Hunt, a textile engineer and fabric innovator with over 20 years of experience. Between the years of 2005-2018, Hunt co-founded, built up and sold 2XU, a global athletic clothing brand.
As a former top-ranked triathlete, Hunt places relentless focus on performance, but has often been frustrated by standard manufacturing practices that compromise the planet and the people within the supply chain. With Pressio, Hunt aims to leverage his relationships to set new standards that minimize, control and reduce the impacts of the garments he engineers and brings to market.
