Peak Content Summit keeps dates, adds remote attendance options

March 6, 2020

The outdoor content marketing strategy conference solves for Coronavirus-related travel interruptions

With so many major outdoor and cycling events being cancelled, Peak Content Summit stands out for holding firm and developing alternative attendance plans.

The content marketing strategy conference will remain in Asheville, NC, on March 12-13, 2020. By adding remote screen-sharing presentation options, they’ve eliminated the risk of missing a session in the event that a speaker can’t make it.

“We’ve been contingency planning for a while now,” says Peak Content Summit founder and host, Tyler Benedict. “And while none of our speakers have had to back out yet, we found that this solution actually allowed us to add a new session and speaker to the second day.”

“I love the challenge of solving tough problems, and it’s even better when the answers present new opportunities. I think everyone’s going to be really stoked when we announce the addition on Monday!”

As of this release going live, only one attendee has reported having to cancel their travel plans. Regardless, Peak Content Summit will now be recording all sessions and making them available to stream within two weeks after the event’s close. All paid attendees will have full access to the videos as part of their All-Access Ticket.

“We’ll also offer the recorded sessions behind a paywall for anyone who wasn’t able to make it this year due to schedule conflicts,” says Benedict. “Stay tuned to the event emails for more info on that following the conference.”

With an outdoor & active lifestyle focus, Peak Content Summit’s curriculum will take brand managers, marketers, publishers, content creators, and influencers through the entire process of developing, planning and executing an effective content marketing strategy. Speakers include the CEO of Harmon Brothers, the agency behind the massively viral Squatty Potty and Poo-Pourri video campaigns; GearJunkie’s founder; StoryFuel’s Melanie Deziel; and more. There’ll also be tactical sessions on video, SEO, content mapping, analytics, overall content strategy planning, and more!

Registration is open until March 11. Get on the event email list and learn more at http://www.peakcontentsummit.com.
