Paradise Sports Management teams up with Rouvy for virtual cycling experience

Paradise Sports management, organizer of GFNY Cozumel and GFNY Monterrey has teamed up with Rouvy to offer virtual version of popular GFNY Cozumel course

COZUMEL, MEXICO / May 19, 2020 – Paradise Sports Management the race event organizer behind GFNY Mexico races including GFNY Cozumel and GFNY Monterrey have teamed up with Rouvy to make a unique cycling experience for all cycling enthusiasts and participants of GFNY Mexico races.

The Rouvy and GFNY Mexico collaboration will include the first virtual version of the GFNY Cozumel race course for professional and amateurs to enjoy, train, race and experience what it’s like to ride on the paradise island of Cozumel, Mexico.

We feel Rouvy will be able to give participants the most realistic feeling of racing the GFNY Cozumel course from homes around the world.” Said Shaun Gad, CEO and race organizer of GFNY Mexico. “The collaboration with Rouvy will include group rides, training programs and virtual races while letting everyone train on the GFNY Cozumel course whenever they have the time.”

During 2020 and 2021 GFNY Mexico will host on the Rouvy platform a schedule of group rides, training rides and virtual races to challenge everyone as if they were racing at GFNY Cozumel. Overall podium winners of the virtual races will have a chance to win specialty medals and prizes from our sponsors.  Age group winners will have the opportunity to win front corral positions at GFNY Mexico races while all finishers will receive their personalized finisher certificate and virtual finisher medals. Race participants will also have a chance to enter our raffle for an amazing list of prizes.

The racecourse will be the same as GFNY Cozumel but will be a shortened 80km (1 loop around the island of Cozumel) distance. To also add a more realistic flavor the course will contain full decorations including finish arches, sponsor banners and especially our Mazda lead vehicles and Ventum NS1 race bikes.
