November 18, 2025

Innovative New Series Highlights Urgent Need for Public Lands Stewardship While Showcasing Exclusive Performances in Iconic Outdoor Venues

Boulder, Colorado (November 18, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — Outside Interactive, Inc. announced the launch of Park Sessions,” an innovative new digital series that merges acclaimed musical performances with immersive adventure in America’s most iconic national parks. The series is a powerful testament to the growing trend and cultural overlap between music, outdoor activity, and environmental preservation, all while emphasizing a deep commitment to conservation and the Leave It Better™ mission.

Park Sessions takes viewers beyond the traditional stage, following diverse artists as they find inspiration and connection in majestic natural landscapes. The series aims to bring crucial awareness to the preservation of these public lands and showcase how artists can help foster stewardship. From the red cliffs of Zion to the mist-draped forests of Olympic, the series explores how the outdoors fuel creativity, connection, and conservation. Directed by Academy Award–nominated filmmaker David Darg, Ryan Gall, and Garrett Darland, the series is created and produced by Crooked Highways and in collaboration with Parks ProjectMerrellGo RV’ing, and T-Mobile, shining a spotlight on the importance of protecting our public lands while celebrating the universal rhythm that ties music and nature together.

Unlike traditional music showcases, each session is intentionally capped with a tangible service project, directly connecting the featured artists, Outside, and conservation partner Parks Project to on-the-ground park restoration efforts. This model ensures that the series provides immediate, measurable support for the public lands that serve as the spectacular backdrop.

“National Parks are the ultimate stage for human experience. They challenge us, inspire us, and remind us of our shared responsibility to protect them,”said Chris Leavell, VP of Content Strategy & Production at Outside. “Park Sessions celebrates that connection by uniting powerful performances with meaningful action, turning inspiration into stewardship.”

Park Sessions celebrates the magic that happens when music meets the wild, when artists play to a forest, a canyon, or the sea,” said Ryan Gall, Creator and Executive Producer, Crooked Highways and Co-Founder of Global Citizen. “After years building Global Citizen to unite music and impact, this series brings that same spirit into nature, inspiring people to protect these places and leave them better.”

The inaugural season features artists whose own outdoor journeys mirror the resilience and beauty of the parks themselves:

  • Mike Posner in Zion National Park, reflecting on his real-life summiting of Mt. Everest and 2,800-mile walk across America.
  • Scout Willis among the world’s largest trees in Sequoia National Park, sharing how nature shapes her artistry.
  • Goth Babe bringing surf-and-summit energy to Olympic National Park.
  • Toro y Moi channeling California cool along the dramatic cliffs of Big Sur.

Why This Matters Now

America’s public lands are at a crossroads. With over 300 million visitors each year and a $22 billion maintenance backlog, the National Park System faces mounting pressure from climate change, overuse, and underfunding. Park Sessions aims to inspire a new generation to explore responsibly — and to see stewardship as an act of creativity and connection.

“Music has always been a bridge between people and between cultures,” said Keith Eshelman, Founder & CEO at Parks Project. “When you put artists in these iconic landscapes, you remind audiences that nature isn’t just a backdrop; it’s part of our shared story.”

To date, Parks Project has donated more than $2.7 million to park restoration and volunteer initiatives across the U.S., making them the perfect partner to help Park Sessions turn inspiration into action.
