The road-cycling event covering three Colorado mountain passes, celebrates 35 years
Nov. 15, 2022– Evergreen, Colo./ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The nationally recognized Triple Bypass, that takes cyclists over three mountain passes in Colorado, and hits an elevation of 11,990 feet is slated for Saturday, July 22, 2023. The Triple, in its 35th year, is nearly 120 miles, traveling over Juniper (11,140 ft.), Loveland (11,990 ft.), and Vail (10,560 ft.) passes, with extraordinary views at every summit.
“As always, the Triple Bypass takes determination. Riding well over 100 miles and nearly 11,000 feet of elevation gain is difficult, but achievable – and so worth it,” said Team Evergreen executive director, Jen Barbour. Team Evergreen produces the Triple Bypass as well as five other events including the Mount Evans Hill Climb, The Hundo, Session Series, Salida 76, and the Beti Bike Bash. The best part – they donate the proceeds to local nonprofit organizations, totaling $3.9M in their history.
