A new study of nutrition habits of mid-pack marathoners indicates that some consume diets that limit their performance, and may increase their cardiac risks. Results show that faster marathoners took in significantly more calories and fats—eating more nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables—than slower marathoners. Read more on Podium Runner.
