LAKEWOOD, Colo., July 13, 2022/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Natural Grocers® will be onsite support the Colorado Mountain Bike Championship, hosted by Rattler Racing on July 16, 2022 in Bailey, CO. Based in Colorado, Rattler Racing has had an amazing season so far with some stellar spring races, an action packed gravel weekend over Memorial Day, and weeknight racing at Bear Creek Lake Park. The last race of the season promises a world-class course with the family-friendly, grass-roots feel Rattler Racing is known for.

RATTLER RACING & NATURAL GROCERS

This year marks the third year Rattler Racing will be hosting the State MTB Championship with Natural Grocers along for the ride. As one of the original sponsors of Rattler Racing events, Natural Grocers and the Natural Grocers Cycling Team have enjoyed both sponsoring and participating in the events for years. This weekend’s race will be no different.

Participants of this weekend’s State Championship can look forward to getting a free Natural Grocers reusable goody bag and Natural Grocers Brand Chocolate bar for a sweet, little post-race reward[I]. The Natural Grocers tent will be set up near registration. Mary Betts, a Nutritional Health Coach from the Natural Grocers in Conifer will also be onsite to talk nutrition with athletes and to hand out bottled water, coupons and Natural Grocers samples. “I’m so lucky to be able to show support for our community and our Natural Grocers bike team. These races are so much fun to be a part of. The athletes at the races really show what living a healthy lifestyle can help you accomplish. We really enjoy interacting with the athletes and spectators. There’s so much energy in the atmosphere – come see it for yourself,” said Betts.

RACE DETAILS

The course is set in the scenic hills of Bailey, Colorado. Racers will do multiple laps depending on their discipline. This makes it perfect for spectators, friends and family as there are various opportunities to see racers multiple times on each lap. “The course delivers everything you would expect from a XC mountain bike race. It’s a 5 mile world cup style course packed with solid climbing, twisty turns, short technical sections, and fun descents. Year after year this race is voted one of the best MTB races in Colorado, come see why,” said Dave Muscianisi, co-founder of Rattler Racing.

Muscianisi wishes to reiterate that participants do not need to have qualified to race the Colorado State Championship. All are welcome but as a USAC sanctioned event, racers are required to have a USAC license to race. One-day licenses will be available for $5 on race day.
