Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon and Rosé 5K Nears Sell Out, Boasts 30% YOY Growth

NAPA VALLEY, Calif. (May 20, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The 22nd annual Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon and Rosé 5K is returning July 25-26, and is already on track to sell out its half-marathon distance. The event has seen increased interest, evident in its 30% year-over-year growth. This year’s event will feature VIP offerings, a wine festival featuring over 25 wineries, new partnerships, unique giveaways and many more features that are creating high demand. Those interested in participating in the event are encouraged to register soon, as the event is on track to sell out over a month ahead of race day.

The Rosé 5K will kick off race weekend on July 25, taking participants along a 3.1-mile course starting and finishing at Sonoma Plaza. The Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon, taking place July 26, will start at Cuvaison Winery and take participants along a point-to-point course through multiple world-famous vineyards, ranches and farms, celebrating the region’s scenic landscapes. Over the years, the race has earned high honors from the running community. The event’s post-race celebration was recognized by Runner’s World as “the best post-race festival in America,” and Forbes named it one of the “Top 7 Most Scenic Half Marathons in the U.S.” Most recently, Traveler called it one of the “11 of the Coolest Marathon Courses Around the Globe.”
Participants of the 2026 event have the opportunity to elevate their race day experience with four different VIP experience opportunities. VIP upgrades include a variety of offerings, including unlimited wine pours, VIP gear check, private lounges, post-race massages, food and beverages, private restrooms, changing tents and more. Tastings are exclusive to Wine Festival Pass holders, but everyone can still enjoy the lively mix of music, food and post-race celebrations.
