The 25th running of the Surf City Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021.  The scenic course giving runners a first-class tour of Huntington Beach with the convenient start and finish line located just steps from the beach. A two-day Active Lifestyle Expo kicks off race weekend in Huntington Beach Parking Lot on Thursday, September 9 and Friday, September 10. The expo will have numerous vendors featuring the latest in running gear, recovery products and nutrition.

Event weekend will feature two days of running with a beach mile race on the sand on Friday, September 10 at 6pm. Race Day begins on Saturday at 6:25am with Challenged Athletes, the marathon, half-marathon and 5k. Runners enjoy one of the most scenic courses in the United States with spectacular views along the route. Event weekend concludes with a finish line festival and Michelob ULTRA beer garden.
