CHICAGO – The waterways and streets of The Windy City welcomed more than 5,500 triathletes this weekend, as the Life Time Chicago Triathlon made its return following a one-year hiatus. Athletes from 47 states and five countries took to the starting line in five separate races, which kicked off Saturday morning with the junior and senior races that comprise the Kids Tri Chicago event, as well as the SuperSprint distance of the triathlon. The action-packed Sprint and International distances were held Sunday, commencing with the swim start in the Chicago Harbor and finishing within Grant Park on S. Columbus Drive.
