Master Spas Welcomes ‘Iron Cowboy’ James Lawrence to Ambassador Team

February 18, 2021

Triathlete and motivational speaker to use H2X Challenger 19D as part of his Conquer 100 Challenge

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Date here — Master Spas, the world’s largest swim spa manufacturer, is excited to announce a partnership with “Iron Cowboy” James Lawrence.

“We are very excited to have James Lawrence join Team Master Spas,” says Kevin Richards, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “At Master Spas, we want to help athletes balance big goals with the demands of everyday life. Our partnership with James gives us the unique opportunity to support him as he redefines impossible while making time for family.”

Lawrence is a motivational speaker most known for his “50-50-50” endeavor in 2015. The journey to complete 50 full-distance triathlons in 50 states in 50 days is shared in the documentary “Iron Cowboy: The Story of the 50.50.50.” Lawrence has also broken several world records, including completing the most 70.3-mile triathlons in the course of a year.

Through the partnership, Lawrence will be using an H2X Challenger 19D swim spa by Master Spas. The swim spa will be a valuable training and recovery tool in 2021 as Lawrence prepares for his next challenge, the Conquer 100 — 100 full-distance triathlons in 100 days.

“To be able to have a swim spa here at my house eases the complexity of training. It’s so time consuming to do everything that needs to be done for a challenge like this. It is more than a full-time job,” Lawrence says.

“If I can eliminate travel to the gym, travel back, all of those things that involve getting to a pool and swimming …  it gets me closer and quicker to the recovery part of training, which is legit the most important part for me.”

He will complete these triathlons from his home base in Utah, where he lives with his wife, Sunny, and their five children.

Master Spas roster of brand ambassadors includes professional triathletes Tim O’Donnell, Mirinda Carfrae, Ben Hoffman, and Meredith Kessler. Michael Phelps, Aly Raisman, and Taren Gesell are also brand ambassadors.
