Maryland Cycling Classic Celebrates Strong Corporate and Civic Partnerships, Highlighting the Support Behind America’s Top Pro Race

BALTIMORE (September 5, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – With just days to go until the 2025 Maryland Cycling Classic, America’s highest-ranked professional cycling event, organizers today recognized the vital role of its corporate, civic, and community partners in making the race and its associated community events possible. The race, which will feature both men’s and women’s professional fields for the first time, is set to take over the city of Baltimore on Saturday, September 6, with a new circuit course that highlights the city’s iconic neighborhoods and landmarks.
The Maryland Cycling Classic is a premier event for top-tier professional cycling, and its success is a direct result of the support from a wide range of partners. This year’s event is made possible through the contributions of organizations across a variety of sponsorship levels.
The Maryland Cycling Classic is a production of the Sport & Entertainment Corporation of Maryland.

About the 2025 Maryland Cycling Classic
Owned and operated by the Sport & Entertainment Corporation of Maryland, the Maryland Cycling Classic is a UCI ProSeries one-day international professional cycling race sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and USA Cycling. Part of a weekend of community events, the race is a celebration of healthy lifestyles, bringing the world’s best cyclists to Baltimore.
The women’s race, which starts at 8:30 am (EDT), will be comprised of four laps, covering 71.6 miles (115.2 kilometers). The races will start at the Harbor Point District’s Central Plaza and finish on East Pratt along Baltimore’s famous Inner Harbor, less than a mile apart. The race features 3,868 feet (1,179 meters) of climbing including a steep 900-meter climb on the northernmost part of the course, which will contest the Queen of the Mountains point. The course also will feature a unique 550-meter cobblestones sector each lap on Thames Street in Fells Point district of Baltimore.
