June 4, 2025

New Road & Gravel Models Offer Speed, Versatility and Style with Advanced Engineering

Nagoya, Japan ( June 4, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — IRC Tire is proud to announce the launch of seven all-new, performance-focused tires for 2025, expanding its premium lineup with three next-generation road models and four all-terrain gravel options. Designed for riders who demand innovation, speed, and style, each new model is available in a variety of sizes with select tan wall options that combine modern performance with classic aesthetics.

New Road Tires: Precision Meets Speed

With a legacy rooted in road racing performance, IRC introduces the Formula Pro Generation 6 series, built for smooth tarmac, controlled descents, and race-day dependability.

  • Formula Pro RBCC – This tubeless tire is a versatile tire for training and racing, featuring an advanced casing with puncture protection and IRC’s proprietary RBCC2 compound.
  • Formula Pro S-Light – An ultra-lightweight, tubeless ready, aerodynamic tire built for speed, ideal for elite competitors.
  • Formula Pro X-Guard – A tubeless tire developed for endurance riders, offering a high-mileage rubber compound and confident all-weather grip.

These new road models are built on a supple 180 TPI casing and are fully compatible with hookless rims. Featuring an innovative fishbone-patterned shoulder tread infused with RBCC2 compound, each tire delivers superior cornering grip and control. The center tread is engineered from a silica-carbon hybrid compound. This dual compound results in a remarkable 9.97% reduction in rolling resistance and an impressive 80% increase in tire longevity—raising the bar for performance and endurance on every ride.

New Gravel Tires: Built for the Adventure

Pushing the boundaries of off-road exploration, IRC expands its renowned BOKEN series with four new gravel tires engineered for everything from fast race conditions to rugged, unpredictable trails.

  • Boken G-Claw – 700x50C – This all-terrain powerhouse blends speed, traction, and durability across any surface.
  • Boken Pro – 700x47C (Tan Sidewall) – The fastest BOKEN yet—ideal for high-speed gravel racing and tarmac transitions alike.
  • Boken DoubleCross Light (Tan Sidewall) – A 9% lighter version of the trusted DoubleCross, offering agile handling with no compromise on grip.
  • Boken Light (Tan Sidewall) – A new colorway with a lighter casing and refined tread, combining performance with timeless tan wall style.

Each gravel model features a tubeless-ready design, high-grip rubber compounds, and a 120 TPI casing to deliver responsive handling, comfort, and protection on long rides and demanding courses.
