Injinji Partners with Ultrarunning Champion Jeff Browning

February 22, 2021

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (February 22, 2021)– Injinji®, the innovator of the patented five-toe- Performance Toesock™ for runners and outdoor enthusiasts, announces that Jeff Browning has joined its athlete roster. Browning’s storied ultrarunning record includes 33 career wins at prolific trail events including the Hardrock 100, the Big Horn 100 and the Cascade 100. His talent and work ethic, coupled with his inspiring, values-driven approach to the sport, made him the ideal fit for the Injinji brand.

“We’ve cheered for Jeff for years as he’s tackled some of the toughest, most challenging trail races in the world with positivity and grit, and we’re thrilled to support him throughout his next adventures,” says Claire Kooperman, director of ecommerce and operations at Injinji. “While his ultrarunning record speaks for itself, his talent for inspiring community on the trail really sets him apart. Welcome to the team, Jeff!”

Jeff Browning, 49, is an American ultrarunner based in Flagstaff, Arizona. After getting into running as a kid while exploring his family’s 700-acre farm in Missouri, Browning went on to become a prolific athlete in the trail running space. Since beginning his ultrarunning career, Browning has earned 33 career ultra wins, 21 of those being 100-miles races, which is the third most career 100-mile wins in history. Perhaps most impressively, he’s managed to do all of this while balancing his responsibilities as a full-time endurance coach, father, husband and designer.

“I am so excited to partner with Injinji. I’ve been a die-hard fan of the brand since 2007 when I had horrible blisters during the Arkansas Traveller 100. Another runner introduced me to Injinji socks and I’ve been running in them ever since,” says Jeff Browning. “Now, I have well over 100 ultras finishes in Injinji socks.”

Browning’s addition to the Injinji athlete roster comes at a perfect time as the brand expands its offerings for distance runners in spring 2021. Launching March 2, the new Injinji Ultra Run Mini-Crew(MSRP $18) combines what runners love about the Ultra Run Collection—like comfort and support even after miles of wear, cushioned terry to soften impact, separated toes to prevent blisters and arch support—with a mini-crew length that sits just above the ankle. Like all Injinji socks, they are anatomically designed to your foot, and the five-toe sleeve design allows your toes to splay naturally and prevents blisters by eliminating skin-on-skin friction between your toes.

The Injinji Ultra Run Mini-Crewis available in unisex and women’s-specific sizing, and will be available for purchase March 2 on injinji.com.
