Riders will tackle an updated race course in the Sacred Valley of the Incas

New York City, August 31, 2023 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ -This Sunday, the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo, located in the Peruvian Andes, will host the third edition of GFNY Peru. The updated challenging race course offers riders a 127.7 km long with an elevation gain of 1742m, reaching up to 3600m above sea level.

“Racing at this high altitude is a tough premise and one that makes GFNY Peru unique and desirable,” says GFNY CEO Uli Fluhme. “We’re proud to be able to offer such diverse experiences at GFNY where racing is held in different climates and on terrain from flat to mountainous – and everything in between. There truly is a race or five at GFNY for every serious road cyclist.”

The historic Inca town of Ollantaytambo is surrounded by magical ruins and extensive agricultural terraces. GFNY riders and families will enjoy a wonderful place surrounded by magic and mystery.
