September 26, 2023

Wildman Triathlon Experience slated for September 2024 in central Kentucky's Bluegrass Region

Lawrenceburg, Kentucky – September 26 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Georgia Multisports announced that Lawrenceburg, Anderson County will be home to a new, challenging half and international distance triathlon September 21, 2024. The race consists of a swim, bike and run and will span three counties in Central Kentucky, although most of the race takes place in Anderson County.

“Kentucky’s Bluegrass is one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially during the fall. There is an appeal to a rural setting this time of year. Pristine open water swims, tree-lined rolling hills and a finish in a historic small town, right in the heart of Bourbon Country. Triathlons of this distance are challenging hours-long races but the setting is inspiring for these competitors.” says Jim Rainey, president of Georgia Multisports.

Lawrenceburg, a picturesque, historic city nestled in the heart of Kentucky’s Bourbon Country, is proud to announce that it has been selected to host the Wildman Triathlon Experience in 2024.
