Fuel Goods and the Arthritis Foundation Cycling Experience Partner to Power Riders and Raise Awareness for Arthritis

November 11, 2025

Atlanta, GA (November 11, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — The Arthritis Foundation Cycling Experience is proud to announce a new partnership with fuelgoods.com, the sports nutrition marketplace built to make fueling easy. This collaboration will deliver added value to 350 cyclists across the 2nd Annual Carolina Hills Classic (May 14–17, 2026) and the 26th Annual California Coast Classic (September 26–October 3, 2026) — two premier charity rides fueling awareness and support for more than 60 million people in the US who are living with arthritis.

The partnership unites two Asheville, NC-based forces for impact: Fuel Goods, led by its co-founder and CEO, Laura Jorgensen, and the Carolina Hills Classic, which has its start line in Asheville, North Carolina. This reinforces the deep local roots and significance of collaboration. Laura, a former professional cyclist with over 50 international podium finishes who lives with arthritis, will serve as a National Mission Ambassador for both tours, embodying the power of community, perseverance, and the pursuit of wellness through movement.

“Fuel Goods’ partnership with the Arthritis Foundation Cycling Experience will empower riders to perform their best while supporting a mission that matters deeply,” said Laura Jorgensen. “As someone who lives with arthritis, I know firsthand how movement and community can transform both physical and emotional well-being.”

Laura will bring her story to both the Carolina Hills Classic and the California Coast Classic, inspiring riders and amplifying Fuel Goods’ mission to promote health and endurance with purpose.

Fuel Goods will serve as the Official Fueling Partner of the Arthritis Foundation Cycling Experience, providing all registered riders with an annual discount, branded activations at both events, and on-site product sampling and sales with a portion of proceeds donated back to the Arthritis Foundation. A co-branded online store will also be launched, contributing a percentage of purchases to the Foundation’s mission to conquer arthritis.

The partnership will extend beyond the tours through educational content, email outreach, and joint social media campaigns, connecting the performance nutrition community with arthritis awareness and advocacy year-round.

“Cycling events like the Carolina Hills Classic and California Coast Classic go beyond sport,” said Arthritis Foundation Cycling Experience National Senior Director Shannon Marang Cox. “They build communities of resilience and hope. Partnering with Fuel Goods helps every participant feel equipped, energized, and inspired to contribute to something larger than themselves.”
