Fitness Meets Happy Hour: ADP Corporate 5K Turns Hampton Roads Workforces into Run Crews

JUNE 19, 2025 – NORFOLK, VIRGINIA /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – J&A Racing’s annual ADP Corporate 5K presented by Bon Secours returned with an electrifying atmosphere, solidifying its reputation as Hampton Roads’ largest office happy hour. 2,327 participants from local businesses and organizations gathered for an evening of fitness, camaraderie, and celebration under the downtown skyline. Held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the event saw record participation, with runners and walkers of all levels coming together to support workplace wellness—and enjoy a well-earned post-race party.
The ADP Corporate 5K presented by Bon Secours and hosted by J&A Racing has become a staple on the region’s running calendar, blending friendly competition with team bonding. This year’s event featured local favorite DJ Joee Fu, a lively finish-line festival, and an unbeatable after-party vibe as companies raced, laughed, and celebrated together.

Key highlights of the 2025 race included:
- Record-breaking participation, with teams from over 172 local companies hitting the pavement.
- Post-race celebrations featuring cold brews and delicious catering from Groovin’ Gourmet, keeping the energy high long after the final finisher crossed the line.
- A vibrant festival atmosphere, complete with music, team photos, and networking with a perfect sunset on the water.
- Funds raised through the Starting Strides Charity Team will sponsor a local elementary school’s team in the upcoming Chartway Norfolk Harbor Kid’s Mile, providing shoes, race entries, and transportation at no cost.
