EF Education-TIBCO-SVB and Vittoria partnering again for 2023

February 15, 2023

In 2023, Vittoria will continue as the sole official tire supplier for EF Education-TIBCO-SVB.

BENTONVILLE, AR /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Vittoria has continued its partnership with EF Education-TIBCO-SVB as its official tire supplier. The women’s pro-cycling team has expanded and grown greatly over the past year, completing its first WorldTour season with 13 wins, adding staff members and infrastructure, and continuing its focus on building a solid foundation for the team.

Now in its third year, Vittoria’s partnership with EF Education-TIBCO-SVB covers all the athletes’ needs in multiple disciplines, including road, gravel, MTB, and cyclocross.

“Vittoria is pleased to be working with EF Education-TIBCO-SVB for another year,” said Karim Pine, Vittoria Industries North America Managing Director. “We are excited to be sponsoring one of the longest-running professional women’s cycling teams in North America. Their mission to help women achieve their goals in a healthy environment is one that we strongly support.”

“We are just thrilled to be extending our partnership with Vittoria” added Linda Jackson, Founder and President of the team. “Tires are one of the most critical pieces of our bike builds, and with Vittoria, I know our riders are on the best tires they can be on. Whether we are in a road race, cyclocross race, gravel race or MTB race, we know that we will have the right tires available for success.”

EF Education-TIBCO-SVB riders will have a wide variety of options for the different disciplines they will face. For cyclocross, the options include the tubeless-ready Terreno Mix, Terreno Dry, and Terreno Wet. Vittoria group member A. Dugast’s tubular Rhino, Typhoon, and Pipisquallo are also available options for cyclocross. For gravel, the tubeless-ready Terreno Dry, Terreno Wet, and Terreno Zero provide a range of choices. For MTB, the tubeless-ready Mezcal and Barzo will provide low rolling resistance and withstand a combination of terrains. For road, the tubular and tubeless-ready Corsa, Corsa Speed, and Corsa Control accommodate for the different variations of road racing, including extremely demanding asphalt conditions and time trails. The new Vittoria Corsa N.EXT tires will continue to be used as training tires for the team.

Additionally, the team will have Vittoria’s Air-Liner systems in all disciplines, including the Air-Liner Road, Air-Liner Gravel, and Air-Liner MTB. The Air-Liner tire inserts are designed to increase the safety, performance, and puncture resistance of tubeless tires for road, gravel, and MTB applications.

EF Education-TIBCO-SVB kicked off its road season with the Santos Tour Down Under in Australia on January 12, 2023, where it won the team classification and finished third overall in the individual classification with Georgia Williams. Adding to its early success on the road, Zoe Backstedt just won the silver medal in the World Cyclocross U23 championships, on A. Dugast tires.
