“The 2022 UCI Road World Championships is the pinnacle UCI road cycling event and we can’t wait to have it in Wollongong next month,” said Clucas. “We’re giving riders the chance to be a part of the action and experience what the world’s best will be taking on, all without leaving their home, with all courses from the event available with FulGaz.”

“As well as proving the opportunity to ride the event course we’ve also got some great tourist routes to showcase this incredible cycling region to the rest of the world,” said Clucas. “And for those who will be making their way to Wollongong for the event, we’ll be onsite with the FulGaz activation, providing a chance to ride the course and win some great prizes.”

Wollongong 2022 CEO Stu Taggart said the partnership would allow even more people to experience the spectacular scenery and challenging courses that define the 2022 UCI Road World Championships.

“We know the eyes of the world will be on Wollongong when the world’s best athletes roll into town, and by providing the chance for fans to ride the virtual course we are sure that many will be keen to explore our coastal oasis in person, and by bike, one day in the future,” Mr. Taggart said.

“This is where tourism meets technology, and inspiration meets innovation. We’re proud to partner with an Australian-founded company to create this experience for cycling enthusiasts worldwide.”
