Leading Cloud Based SaaS platform to streamline medical needs for another Iconic Running Event

/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Credit Union Cherry Blossom (CUCB) 10 Mile Run & 5K has selected RACESAFE to help consolidate and streamline the management of its event day medical needs. RACESAFE will provide the CUCB and its medical team with its robust, user-friendly mobile interface that offers instant GPS based communication, situational awareness, reporting and documentation of medical incidents during events.

In addition to its powerful event day applications, RACESAFE helps events and their medical partners recruit and organize the event’s medical team and provides detailed post event analytics to help prevent future bad outcomes. It also offers event participants a secure HIPAA compliant portal to share their personal medical information for a more comprehensive response to an event medical emergency. New to the platform in 2023 is the Reference Feature, providing medical team users real-time and instant access to critical emergency protocol documents including cardiac care procedures and other key documents.

Developed in 2012 by Dr. Anthony Luke, Director of the UCSF Human Performance Center, RACESAFE has been used by over 300 events around the world, including the San Francisco Marathon, the Flying Pig Marathon (Cincinnati), Twin Cities Marathon, Detroit Marathon, and many others. In addition to Cherry Blossom and the aforementioned events, 2023 will be a big year with RACESAFE being used by the Boston Marathon, the Special Olympic World Games in Berlin, Germany, and a number of other major endurance events in the US and Europe, to be announced shortly.
