Corrigan Sports Hosts Virtual Run to Benefit Restaurant Industry Employees

April 15, 2020

Baltimore, Md. (April 15, 2020) — Corrigan Sports Enterprises announced that it has partnered with sponsor 19 Crimes Wine to conduct the 2020 Run4Relief virtual run to benefit the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund (RERF).  The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, in conjunction with Guy Fieri, created RERF to support restaurant workers experiencing extraordinary hardship in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Like many industries this outbreak has devastated restaurants across the country as restaurant workers are faced with the uncertainty of when they’ll be able to get back to work. Corrigan Sports along with sponsor 19 Crimes Wine would like to express our appreciation for workers by directing our resources to raise money for this fund by hosting a virtual run.

We believe that running or walking is an important way to stay physically and mentally strong during this time of quarantine. Runners will have the choice to run or walk a 19K or a 5K between April 19 and May 19. All registrants will receive a wine stopper-themed finisher’s medal. A portion of the proceeds from the $25 registration fee and any related merchandise sales will be directed to the fund.
