Amazon Named an Official Community Partner of Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon

BOSTON – April 28, 2022/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – ethos, the mass participation event organization that presents the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon, today announced that it has named Amazon an Official Community Partner of Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon, and is partnering with Amazon to make registration for Kids Day free to all. Kids Day takes place on Saturday, July 23, 2022, and is part of the weekend-long Boston Triathlon event. Registration can be found HERE.

“We are thrilled that Amazon shares our view that all kids should have the opportunity to learn about multi-sport competition and experience the thrill of swimming and running with their peers,” said Michael O’Neil, president of the Boston Triathlon. “We are grateful for this support which levels the playing field and makes our event accessible to all kids.”

Designed to inspire health and fitness, to give all kids a positive pathway through sports and introduce Greater Boston youth to multi-sport competition, Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon will feature the USA Triathlon-sanctioned Kids Splash & Dash for athletes ages 7-15, as well as a Kids Fun Run for athletes under the age of seven. Youth groups from across the state are invited to participate, as well as individual children.

The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon brings together athletes of all ages and abilities to compete in Olympic and sprint distance triathlons and the Boston Corporate Cup competition. The two-day event begins with Kids Day on Saturday, July 23, 2022, while Olympic and sprint distance competitions take place on Sunday, July 24, 2022. All events take place at the beautiful South Boston waterfront and begin at the DCR’s Carson Beach.
