Collin Chartier (USA) And Haley Chura (USA) Claim Victories At 2022 Subaru IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant

- Over 1,000 athletes converged in the Laurentian Mountains of Québec for the 2022 Subaru IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant triathlon

MONT-TREMBLANT, QUEBEC, CANADA (Aug. 21, 2022) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The picturesque international Resort of Tremblant and Quebec’s stunning Laurentian Mountains provided a spectacular backdrop for the return of the Subaru IRONMAN® Mont-Tremblant triathlon. With some of triathlon’s best on hand, Collin Chartier (USA) won the men’s professional race with a finishing time of 8:08:40, while Haley Chura (USA) topped the podium in the women’s professional race with a time of 9:17:21.

The 2022 Subaru IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant triathlon saw over 1,000 athletes start the race ranging in age from 18-81 years old. Athletes kicked off their IRONMAN journey with a 3.8-km (2.4-mile) swim in the Lac Tremblant before embarking on the 180-km (112-mile) bike course through the rolling countryside and into the Laurentian Mountains before returning to the resort. The 42.2-km (26.2-mile) two-lap run course took athletes along Lac Tremblant, down the P’tit train du Nord Linear Park and back onto Chemin du Curé-Deslauriers before returning to the heart of the resort’s pedestrian village for an unforgettable finish line experience. The event offered a professional prize purse of $100,000. Additionally, the 2022 Subaru IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant offered 75 qualifying slots and 14 Women For Tri slots to the 2022 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i.
