The impressive pro field includes CLASH Endurance veterans as well as many new to the CLASH Endurance start line. We are expecting a battle on the men’s side between favorite Jason West and Andrew Starykowicz. Many wonder if Andrew will be able to create a big enough gap to hold off Jason. Athletes like Nick Chase and Taylor Reid will be sure to utilize any moment to attack. The women’s event boasts a larger field with names such as Haley Chura who will use her Olympic-trials swimming experience to race from the front, while Sophie Watts has proven she is ready to run fast despite past injuries. The fields both include athletes with numerous accolades including ITU and IRONMAN Champion titles, Collegiate runners and swimmers and course record holders. Additionally, many of these athletes have overcome challenges in their lives to arrive on race day in Watkins Glen.

Elevating the sport and setting a high bar for triathlon by creating an inclusive atmosphere inside of some of America’s premiere racetracks is part of the CLASH Endurance mission. The unique backdrop for CLASH Endurance Watkins Glen will be showcased twice on FOX Sports One (FS1) on July 27, 2022 at 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. ET. In addition, FSR will make the event available to Canadian viewers on July 29 at 7 p.m. The broadcast will be a docuseries-style format that not only highlights the race and its competitors, but the scenery surrounding the event.
