Cirrus Cycles launches Kinekt Ambassador Program, hopes to showcase diverse use of suspension products

March 1, 2021

Bellingham, Wash. (March 1, 2021) – Cirrus Cycles, the maker of the Kinekt suspension post and the Kinekt stem, is pleased to announce the launch of its first ambassador program.

The goal of the Kinekt Ambassador Program is to showcase how riders in various disciplines of bike riding can benefit from, and experience a more comfortable ride with, active suspension products.

“Between the potholes, rough chipseal pavement or dirt and gravel roads, the surfaces we ride on are rarely smooth. With our patented systems allowing travel of 35 mm in the seatpost and 20 mm in the stem, we effectively remove the high-frequency vibrations, It allows you to ride longer, with more control, more traction and more comfort,” said Evan Wert, Global Sales and Marketing Director for Cirrus Cycles.

“From e-bike commuters to cyclocross racers, we’ve got thousands of happy customers out there already who have discovered the benefits of after-market suspension products. Together, we’d like to spread to word of how every rider can benefit from active suspension, no matter if you’re a gravel grinder, e-biker, daily commuter, cyclocrosser or tandem rider.”

Unlike any other products on the market, the KINEKT seatposts and stem provide near 100 percent friction-free vertical travel. Its patented dual-spring parallelogram effectively isolates the body from surface bumps and vibrations to improve comfort, control, and traction. As a result, riders feel less fatigued, and can enjoy longer, more comfortable rides.

Offering a mutually beneficial relationship with enthusiastic riders across North America, Kinekt will support its ambassadors with product and gear in return for original content, feedback and enthusiasm.

“This is a new endeavor for us, but we are really excited to engage with the cycling community in this way,” said Wert.

About Cirrus Cycles:

The BodyFloat/KINEKT Seatpost was born out of necessity by co-founder Paul Barkley after serving in the Peace Corps on the rough roads of Uganda. While bicycle evolution was clearly not the mission of his return trip to Africa, he found it essential to improve his endurance in the saddle while traveling extended distances on two wheels. As an excellent bike mechanic, former frame designer, fabricator and bike shop owner, he invented the first version of the Isolation Seatpost. This design became the basis of the current KINEKT Seatpost; a technically advanced isolation system that dramatically improves the comfort and performance of any bike and any rider. Cirrus Cycles Inc was formed to bring the seatpost to market and a patent for the product was issued to the company in 2014. www.cirruscycles.com
