ASICS Los Angeles Marathon and Postmates Announce “Delivery Runners” at Mile 23
February 24, 2026

Postmates joins as the Official Food Delivery Partner, bringing local flavors to the course
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (February 24, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — The ASICS Los Angeles Marathon, produced by The McCourt Foundation, is announcing a new partnership with Postmates, naming the platform its Official Food Delivery Service Partner. With the partnership, for the first time ever, Postmates will be delivering to runners on course. “Delivery Runners” will be running alongside participants at mile 23 with items including donut holes, pickle brine, and iced espresso shots, to help runners get across the finish line.
To fuel runners’ marathon training, Postmates has partnered with Strava to offer discounted post-training meals from nearby businesses for those running on three of the city’s most popular training routes: the Santa Monica Promenade, Silver Lake Reservoir, and Rose Bowl Loop.
The collaboration aims to celebrate the culinary culture in Los Angeles while providing fuel for both athletes and spectators. In addition to their on-course activation, Postmates will also have a presence at the finish line with a free food truck showcasing dishes from a top-rated LA restaurant.
“The ASICS Los Angeles Marathon is a celebration of this city’s grit and community,” said Karen O’Connell, Head of Sponsorship for the McCourt Foundation and ASICS Los Angeles Marathon. “Postmates is the perfect partner to help us showcase the local flavor that makes LA unique, while providing a literal and figurative boost to our runners when they need it most.”
“Postmates has always been about delivering the best of Los Angeles to Angelenos across the city,” said Jasmin Booker, Brand Marketing Lead at Postmates. “We are excited to deliver a burst of fuel to the runners at Mile 23 and celebrate with cheering spectators at the finish line. We’re proud to fuel the athletes and further support the local restaurants that keep LA running.”
