Anheuser-Busch InBev Partners with Two Great Races in Two Great Places

Michelob ULTRA named Official Beer and GHOST® Energy named Official Energy Drink partner for Sunday’s Surf City 10 Miler and the 2022 Long Beach Marathon in October

Southern California – September 22, 2022 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – With summer at an end, September is traditionally when fall marathon season kicks into high gear. Thousands of Southern California runners are training for two of the best events of the year.

Race organizers today announced an exclusive partnership with Anheuser-Busch InBev, for Michelob ULTRA as the Official Beer and GHOST® Energy as the Official Energy Drink partner for the Surf City 10 Miler (September 25) in Huntington Beach and the 38th annual Long Beach Marathon and Half Marathon (October 8-9). The two events combined will welcome more than 20,000 runners.

Post-race beverages will include the iconic Michelob ULTRA, Kona Big Wave, ULTRA Seltzer, NUTRL, and Bud Light Popsicles. Yes, popsicles. Finishers at the Long Beach Marathon and Half Marathon who’ve completed the race over the last three years (i.e. Legacy Runners) will also receive an additional beverage of their choosing onsite.

Orange County’s Oldest race, the Surf City 10 Miler returns to Sunday morning, on September 25 for the first time since 2018. Featuring 10-mile, 10k and 5k distances, the out and back course on the PCH gives runners spectacular views of world-famous Huntington Beach’s sand and surf, with the convenient start and finish line and expo located just steps from the pier. The 2022 Long Beach Marathon and Half Marathon will celebrate 38 years running on the weekend of October 8-9. Event weekend annually attracts thousands of runners with perfect Southern California weather and fast and flat courses. Participants can choose from four different events including the marathon, half marathon, 20-mile Bike Tour, or the Aquarium of the Pacific 5k.

The race returns for its 38th edition year and features two days of races along the Southern California coast, offering runners iconic waterfront views of Shoreline Village and the Queen Mary Hotel.
