Angela Naeth Joins Forces with Rachel Martin for All Women’s LUNA RUN 5k

July 12, 2021

Empowering Women to Reach for Their Goals

Professional Triathlete and founder of IRACELIKEAGIRL, Angela Naeth, is collaborating with Rachel Martin of Forward Motion Events on this summer’s all women’s LUNA RUN/IRACELIKEAGIRL 5k evening trail run/walk in Southern Maine.

Unlike a traditional 5k where they take place in the morning, the LUNA RUN 5k run/walk will take place on Thursday, August 5 at dusk on the beautiful grounds of Spring Hill in South Berwick, Maine. The women are treated to an encouraging atmosphere where they can feel supported and inspired as they run/walk the magical one-mile glowing loop three times. They are also treated to a post race party of tacos and margaritas, an awesome awards ceremony and unique swag.

Not only will the women be able to participate in the event on August 5, they are also invited to a private Facebook Group, and a one-of-a-kind virtual workshop on women empowerment on Tuesday August 3 at 7pm EDT with Angela and Rachel as part of their registration fee. “Being able to provide encouragement and tools for  women is such a great way to give back to the community. I am so passionate about inspiring women to get out there and challenge themselves,” said Angela of IRACELIKEAGIRL. “I am excited about the opportunity to work with Rachel on this project.”

The Luna Run 5k run/walk was created by Rachel in 2019. When the pandemic hit last year, she didn’t want women to stop reaching for their goals so she created an 8-week virtual program and created a Facebook group to keep women connected. “Encouraging and inspiring women to reach for goals is a huge passion of mine,” said Rachel. “Feeling connected, motivated and supported is what keeps your momentum going. I wanted to do my part in keeping spirits lifted during the lockdown.” She continued this for the Pumpkinman Triathlon and Running Festival as well.

The LUNARUN/IRACELIKEAGIRL 5K RUN/WALK will take place on Thursday August 5, 2021 in South Berwick, Maine. You can learn more and register HERE.
