Run Tucson Announces Cigna Healthcare as Title Sponsor of Popular Local 4-Mile Race

October 13, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Run Tucson is excited to announce Cigna Healthcare as the new title sponsor for the 4-mile race that is part of the highly anticipated October 19^th TMC A-Mountain Half-Marathon event weekend, one of Tucson’s most popular races.

TMC Health continues to serve as the title sponsor for the overall event, while Cigna Healthcare joins as the sponsor for the shorter walk/run distance.

The Cigna Healthcare 4-Miler begins and ends in historic Downtown Tucson’s Mercado San Agustin, near the Mission Gardens at the base of Sentinel Peak. The 4-mile route includes Menlo Park neighborhood and the loop road up and down what is commonly called “A-Mountain,” with views of all four Tucson mountain ranges and the entire Tucson basin.

The only locally produced half-marathon in Tucson offers breathtaking views as participants circle Sentinel Peak, pass the historic Mission Garden, and follow the scenic Santa Cruz riverpath. Top-performing runners will have the opportunity to earn prize money and age-group awards courtesy of The Running Shop.

Attendees can enjoy a vendor expo, music, food trucks, and various post-race activities at the race site, conveniently located near the Mercado Annex and Mercado San Agustin on the west side of Downtown Tucson. For those interested in shorter distances, the Family Mile is open to all, while the SAR FitKidz Mile is complimentary for children aged 12 and under.
