PORTLAND, Ore. (FEBRUARY 24, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Shamrock Half Marathon Run Fest, presented by Toyota, is bringing back its popular Toyota giveaway. Community members in Oregon and SW Washington can enter for a chance to win a 2026 4Runner SR5 valued at $45,980. Entries are open through March 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PT and there is no purchase or obligation necessary.
“At the Shamrock Half Marathon Run Fest we’re always looking for creative ways to expand the excitement beyond race day itself. It’s truly more than just a race — it’s a community celebration that begins well before the start line and continues long after the finish,” said Phyllis Blanchard, VP of Commercial Partnerships at Motiv Sports, producer of the Shamrock Half Marathon Run Fest, presented by Toyota. “We’re incredibly grateful for our partnership with Toyota and the tradition of giving away a vehicle to one lucky winner. It’s such a fitting way to celebrate race weekend — especially as we take over the city on St. Patrick’s Day weekend.”
The giveaway is held in partnership with Toyota, the event’s presenting sponsor since 2024. The multi-year collaboration has helped elevate the participant experience and bring new, engaging elements to race weekend – including the annual Toyota giveaway.
“Toyota is proud to continue supporting an event that brings so much energy and togetherness to the Portland community,” said Russ Humberston Jr., president of the Pacific Northwest Toyota Dealers Association. “The Shamrock Half Marathon Run Fest reflects the spirit of celebration and connection that we value, and we’re thrilled to once again offer a new Toyota vehicle as part of the race weekend experience.”
Now in its 48th year, the Shamrock Half Marathon Run Fest has become Portland’s largest running event, welcoming an estimated 19,000 participants on March 15, 2026. The race offers a variety of distances, including a half marathon, 8K, 5K, Stride Walk (4 miles) and the Doernbecher Leprechaun Lap kids run (0.4 miles). In partnership with Kells Irish Pub, the celebration continues post-race with live Irish music, the city’s local craft beer and a festive St. Patrick’s Day atmosphere.
