Trek USCX Cyclocross Series Returns This Fall — Season Opens September 13–14 at GoCross CX in Roanoke, VA

August 22, 2025

Fifth year of the nation’s premier cyclocross series launches with UCI C1/C2 weekend at Fallon Park.

ROANOKE, VA (August 22, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ The Trek USCX Cyclocross Series is back for 2025 with Trek Bicycles returning as title sponsor, kicking off September 13–14 at GoCross CX in Roanoke, Virginia. Now in its fifth year, the series will once again bring four consecutive weekends of world-class cyclocross racing, each following a UCI C1 Saturday and UCI C2 Sunday format.

“All of us are elated that Trek Bicycles has joined forces with us again, both as title sponsor and as the host of our final event at their headquarters in Waterloo, Wisconsin,” said Scott Page, Series Director & Rochester Cyclocross Director.

GoCross CX is renowned for its fast grass sections, steep run-ups, technical off-cambers, and roaring spectator zones. Built on the backbone of a year-round course at Fallon Park, the 2025 edition adds or updates several signature features:

  • The PROthirteen Sand Pit – New sand added!  It is deep, tilled sand that starts fluffy and develops into rutted lines demanding precision under peak fatigue.
  • The Fat Tire Full Send – A steep plunge into an off-camber turn and switchback climb on Saturday, reversed for a brutal uphill challenge on Sunday.
  • Meg’s Mountain formerly School Hill – Tackled twice per lap this year, with a decisive off-camber traverse late in the race.
  • The Avis Construction Flyover – Built for speed and maybe a little air.
  • Black Bibs Barriers – Refreshed and ready for GOCX 2025!
  • Permanent Stairs – Ten awkwardly spaced railroad ties designed to punish tired legs and test running power.

“Go Cross is more than just a race — it’s a celebration of everything we love about North American cyclocross,” said Frank Deal. “This course has something to challenge everyone, whether they’re chasing UCI points or it’s their first race, it’s hard but fun!”
