Trek recalls Domane+, Checkpoint+ e-bikes for undertorqued chainring bolts

Trek is recalling about 700 Domane+ and Checkpoint+ e-bike models because the chainring bolts can loosen, posing a fall and crash hazard.
The recalled 2026 models are the Domane+ ALR 5, Domane+ ALR 6 AXS, Checkpoint+ SL 6, and Checkpoint+ SL 7. Three incidents of the chainring loosening without injury have been reported. Bicycle Retailer
