The Pat Tillman Foundation Marks 42-Day Countdown to the 22nd Annual Pat’s Run, Presented by Teksystems
February 28, 2026
TEMPE, Ariz. (Feb. 28, 2026) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – With 42 days to go, the Pat Tillman Foundation has entered the final countdown to the 22nd Annual Pat’s Run, presented by TEKsystems, returning April 11, 2026, in Tempe, Arizona.
Ranked the 33rd largest race in the United States and among the premier nonprofit races nationwide, the signature 4.2-mile run/walk is expected to draw nearly 30,000 runners, walkers, veterans, families, and supporters from across the country to honor the legacy of former NFL player and U.S. Army Ranger Pat Tillman while supporting the Tillman Scholars program.
The 4.2 distance pays tribute to the No. 42 jersey Pat wore at Arizona State University, with participants finishing on the 42-yard line inside Mountain America Stadium — one of the most distinctive finish-line experiences in endurance sports.
With race day approaching, training is peaking and race-weekend momentum continues to build nationwide as participants prepare to gather in Tempe for this annual tradition of service, remembrance, and community impact.
