October 16, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Boston Run and Outdoor Expo is New England’s largest go-to event for running, outdoor and wellness enthusiasts have released their tickets for the 2026 edition. The community-led event brings together over 12,000 visitors interested in hiking, running, mountain biking, swimming, camping, trail running, paddle sports, fishing, outdoor cooking, climbing, adventure travel and more. Visitors will experience live features in indoor spaces including inspirational fireside chats, panel discussions, product demos, interactive brand activations, expert-led workshops and training seminars.
In 2026, the expo will take place at its new home The Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on March 28-29. The ticket office opens on Thursday 16th October and to celebrate the launch there are a limited number of 2,000 free tickets available using the code ‘LAUNCH’.
A stellar line-up of world-class speakers for The Boston Run & Outdoor Expo includes track and field running legend Carl Lewis, who during his illustrious career in the 1980s and 90s won nine Olympic gold medals and eight World Championship titles across the 100m, 200m, and long jump events.
Joining him is notable long-distance runner, Olympian, author, and podcaster Des Linden. Linden’s numerous accomplishments include becoming the first American woman to win the Boston Marathon in 33 years in 2018 and representing America two times at the Olympics, in London 2012 and Rio 2016. Currently the women’s World Record Holder for the 50k distance, Des set an outstanding time of 2:59:54 in 2021 in Eugene, Oregon.
Legendary rock climber, mountaineer, and author Conrad Anker will also be a headline speaker. A Leader of The North Face climbing team for 26 years, his feats include pioneering ascents on some of the world’s most challenging peaks and discovering the body of George Mallory on Everest in 1999. Mallory was a renowned English mountaineer, who had vanished in June 1924.
Also joining the headline speakers is probably the most infamous race director in the world. Lazarus ‘Laz’ Lake (Gary Cantrell) has spent his career designing and delivering some of the most difficult and unusual ultramarathons in the world. He is mainly renowned for being the mastermind behind the revered and feared Barkley Marathons. Known to many as one of the toughest races on earth, with a cult following and an entry process shrouded in mystery, the route involves 5 x 20 miles laps and 66,000 ft of unmarked ascent in and around Frozen Head Park in Tennessee. Testament to this, out of 1,000 starters, only 20 individuals have completed the 100-mile course within the 60-hour time limit since its inception in 1986.
Complementing the main speaker line-up will be Erica Weitz, who is the founder and head coach of Exclusive Endurance. An accomplished runner and coach with a lifelong passion for the sport, Erica qualified for the 2020 US Olympic Trials Marathon with a personal record of 2:41:54 at the 2019 Houston Marathon.
