Rubeli Family Makes a $20,000 Donation to Team Hoyt Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – February 17, 2026 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Rubeli Family today announced a 3-year, $20,000 donation to support Team Hoyt Las Vegas. Inspired by father & son duo, Rick & Dick Hoyt, Team Hoyt Las Vegas was created for individuals who would not be able to experience the same endurance activities, such as marathons and triathlons, as able-bodied runners. Team Hoyt Las Vegas provides all necessary equipment, including specialized racing chairs for running and sports dinghies for triathlon swims, to allow athletes of diverse abilities to participate in events with Team Hoyt Las Vegas absorbing all costs.

Eden Capsouto, Founder & President of Team Hoyt Las Vegas, commented, “It was a pleasant surprise last week to learn that Ken and his family wanted to support Team Hoyt Las Vegas. With specialized racing chairs costing over $6,000 per chair, we struggle to keep up with the increasing demand of rider athletes wanting to join our inclusive team of athletes. The Rubeli donation allows us to immediately acquire much needed racing equipment.”

Ken Rubeli, Vice President of the Maureen & Paul Rubeli Foundation, stated, “On behalf of my family and the local Las Vegas endurance community, it’s an honor to support the dedicated volunteer team of folks who create magical life memories for Team Hoyt Las Vegas’ athletes of all abilities. No one should ever be denied the joy and exhilaration of toeing the starting line at any endurance event, due to the high cost of specialized equipment required to compete safely. I can’t wait to watch Team Hoyt Las Vegas lead all runners starting this Sunday’s prestigious Celsius Las Vegas Rock & Roll 10K & Half-Marathon. Let’s all line-up along the strip between Tropicana & Russell at 4:30 PM and make it roar for Team Hoyt Las Vegas as they fly by.”
