Tailwind Nutrition’s “Trail Crew” Campaign Includes Three Giveback Channels for Local Organizations

In celebration of National Trails Day®, Tailwind extends support to trail crews and organizations around the country

Durango, CO (June 5, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Tailwind Nutrition, the leading provider of simple and complete nutrition products, launches its “Tailwind Trail Crew” campaign to support the organizations and individuals who help maintain the hike, run, and bike trails that are beloved by its communities. National Trails Day® on June 7, 2025, is a natural moment for Tailwind Nutrition to give back through monetary and product donations as well as physical trail work.

Tailwind Nutrition was born at the end of the trail – literally the finish line of the Leadville Trail 100. Since its inception, the brand has celebrated the access, exploration, ability to push our personal limits, and connection to nature that trails provide, whether that is on foot, bike, or other.

As access, safety, and maintenance of our beloved trails comes under threat due to staffing and budget reductions, Tailwind Nutrition is giving back to the trails that give us so much, and to the often overlooked heroes of our outdoor spaces: trail maintenance crews and organizations.

Eighteen organizations around the country – from local Durango Trails to organizations in California, North Carolina, and beyond – have received product donations to keep their crews hydrated and fueled on the trails. Tailwind Nutrition is continuing outreach to more non-profit trail organizations throughout the month.

Furthermore, for the month of June, one dollar of every purchase on tailwindnutrition.com will be donated to support the American Hiking Society to assist with their efforts to restore and maintain trails throughout the country. Customers have the opportunity to add an optional donation to their cart upon checkout.

Between the monetary and product donations, Tailwind Nutrition expects to provide nearly $10,000 to these organizations by the end of June.

To back up their dollar, Tailwind Nutrition employees will be getting their hands dirty at several trail days alongside their local Durango and Denver, CO, organizations.
