January 30, 2026

January 30, 2026 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – In a blockbuster weekend for aspiring elite paratriathletes in the USA, Supertri Long Beach and Supertri New Jersey will both hold events, offering competitors on both the East Coast and the West Coast the chance to race on July 19.
The USA Triathlon Paratriathlon Nationals Qualifier Race Series is the premiere national-level racing circuit for up-and-coming paratriathletes in the United States. The aim of the series is to provide increased domestic competitive opportunities for the nation’s emerging paratriathletes.
The Paratriathlon Nationals Qualifier Race Series provides paratriathletes and ATD1 athletes opportunities to race sprint distance races following USAT and World Triathlon paratriathlon competition rules.
Participants in the series will be able to gain experience racing on triathlon courses designed for paratriathlon and have the opportunity to qualify for the 2026 USA Triathlon Paratriathlon National Championships in Milwaukee on August 9.
“As we head into the 2026 season, our goal is to welcome 100 paratriathletes and adaptive athletes to compete at Paratriathlon Nationals this August,” said USA Triathlon Head of Para Development, Auburn Bosworth. “The Paratriathlon Nationals Qualifier Series continues to be a key pathway for both new and returning athletes, strengthening paratriathlon communities across the country. Para development plays a vital role in growing the sport and building momentum toward the Paralympic Games at LA28 and beyond.”
Supertri’s iconic courses in Long Beach and New Jersey provide the perfect backdrop for the events, and further strengthens Supertri’s alignment with USAT and delivers against its goal to offer athletes shared connection, purpose and achievement via competition.
Supertri Long Beach is the world’s largest fundraising triathlon, powered by Supertri’s industry-leading Corporate Challenge, and is set against the iconic backdrop of the Southern California coastline. With a protected bay swim, participants can choose between Sprint and Olympic Distance races, with options for individual competitors, relay teams, and the Corporate Challenge, which welcomes some of the biggest companies in the world. The event also includes a Kids Splash and Dash for younger athletes. Beyond the race, the triathlon has raised more than $19 million for pediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles via Supertri’s Corporate Challenge.
Supertri New Jersey is an event known for speed and personal bests as one of the fastest triathlon courses in North America. The race, which in 2026 celebrates its 20th anniversary, is held annually in Mercer County Park and is one of the ten largest triathlons in the United States. Known for its flat and fast course, the event features Sprint and Olympic distance races and draws athletes from across the country looking for personal bests and high-energy race day experiences in a deeply passionate community. 2026 marks Supertri’s first year running the event.

About Supertri
Supertri is modern triathlon built to bring people together and inspire the competitor in everyone. Built by triathletes, we create fast, premium racing through a global series of premium triathlon festivals in iconic city locations. We believe the best moments in sport happen when people feel a sense of connection, community and shared purpose, and leave proud of how they raced. Our events unite elite and everyday athletes in the same arenas, sharing the same energy, expectations, and respect. This is not a fragmented experience or a hierarchy of races. It is one community, one standard, and one race environment. At Supertri, every finish line matters, no matter whether you are an Olympic gold medallist, a seasoned amateur or a first-timer. Supertri gives purpose to competition and creates moments of real achievement, not defined by distance or time alone, but by quality — of aspiration, of performance, and of experience. Crossing the line should always feel earned, never given. And that is done best when we are part of something bigger than just ourselves.
