RaceRaves, the premier race finder and reviews community for runners and endurance athletes, has announced the winners of its 2025 “Runners Choice: Best Marathons in the U.S.” poll. The top marathon in each state was crowned based on votes from runners across the country along with ratings and reviews on RaceRaves.com.

The authoritative new guide will help novice and veteran runners alike build their all-star marathon wish list.

Common themes across the winning events include outstanding organization and race-day support, energetic community engagement, and memorable courses that showcase the spirit and scenery of their local regions.

The 2026 Cowtown, featuring the Kids 5K, Adults 5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, and ultra marathon, will be held at Will Rogers Memorial Complex on February 27 – March 1. Registration is ongoing and information can be found at cowtownmarathon.org.
