May 13, 2025

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (May 13, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ — Ragnar Trail Zion, one of the most iconic races in the Ragnar Relay portfolio, is now accepting registrations for the 2026 race.

Taking place May 8–9, 2026, at Zion Ponderosa Ranch—just a few miles from the east entrance to Zion National Park—this race provides an unforgettable trail running experience. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Zion’s famous Checkerboard Mesa and Cedar Breaks, every mile of trail delivers red dirt, towering pines, and jaw-dropping landscapes. Zion Ponderosa Ranch features everything from a pool and hot showers to restaurants, vacation homes, and cabins. It’s no surprise Ragnar Trail Zion is the series’ most sought-after event, selling out completely in 2025.

“Coming off the 2025 Zion event, I’m still blown away,” said Paul Jesse, Trail Zion Race Director. “Watching 450 teams and over 3,000 runners take over Zion Ponderosa Ranch was nothing short of incredible. There’s truly nothing like it. If you’re a trail runner, this is one race you must experience. I’m already counting down to next year.”

Ragnar Relay races push teams of runners to conquer stunning landscapes like Zion over the course of two days and one night. With two race formats—Road (around 200 miles) and Trail (about 120 miles)—participants put their endurance, teamwork, and resilience to the test.

Ragnar expects the 2026 race to sell out. Those interested in participating can register at https://runragnar.com/pages/race-trail-zion.
