With more than 28,000 participants last year and both the half and full marathon selling out two years in a row, this year’s event is expected to reach capacity in record time. The 54th annual BMW Dallas Marathon offers an exciting variety of events for participants of all ages and skill levels. The Friday Night Lights Mile returns on Friday, Dec. 12, to kick off an action-packed weekend. Saturday, Dec. 13, will feature the return of the 10K, 5K (running and walking), 5K Team Challenge, Kid’s 100-Meter Dash, and Oncor Kid’s Race. On Sunday, Dec. 14, runners will take to the streets for the Marathon, Half Marathon (running and walking), 50K Ultra Marathon, and Relays.

Race weekend begins on Friday, Dec. 12, with the Health & Fitness Expo at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Participants can pick up their race packets and shop merchandise from top fitness and health vendors. Admission is free and open to the public through Saturday.

Looking for an added challenge? Sign up for the BMW Weekend Series, where participants can mix and match events across Saturday and Sunday. Complete the series to earn a bonus medal, a custom ASICS finisher jacket, and a commemorative event poster.
