Recover Brands to Showcase Sustainable Innovation at the 2026 Running USA Industry Conference in St. Louis

October 6, 2025

Asheville, NC (Oct. 6, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Recover Brands, the pioneering sustainable apparel company, will sponsor the Expo Lounge and participate in the Innovation Showcase at the 2026 Running USA Industry Conference presented by haku, taking place February 1–3 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Celebrating 15 years in business in 2025, Recover Brands has built its reputation on a mission to make the most environmentally friendly and socially responsible products possible. Founded in Asheville, North Carolina, the company combines deep roots in textiles with a passion for environmental stewardship, offering high-quality performance apparel made entirely from recycled materials.

At the heart of Recover’s approach is its 360 closed-loop manufacturing model, which ensures their products are made from 100% recycled fibers and can be fully recycled at the end of its life. This circular model not only diverts textiles from landfills but also reduces carbon emissions, water use, and energy consumption throughout their HyperLocal® supply chain.

Through this system, Recover partners with race directors and retailers nationwide to recycle old event inventory, transforming “dead stock” into new products and giving materials infinite life. This commitment to circularity makes Recover a standout sustainability partner for endurance events of all sizes, from grassroots community races to globally recognized marathons.

Recover has grown to become a trusted provider for endurance events, including a marquee partnership with the Marine Corps Marathon, where 40,000 runners will receive limited-edition, fully recycled quarter zips later this month. Other collaborations include the Big Sur International Marathon, Charlotte Marathon and countless other races nationwide that value sustainable participant shirts, volunteer gear, and merchandise backed by measurable environmental impact reports.

“From the beginning, our mission has been to inspire people to be better stewards of the environment through great products,” said Bill Johnston, Founder and President of Recover Brands. “The endurance community has been an incredible partner in helping us spread that message, and we’re excited to connect, learn and share with industry leaders at the 2026 Running USA conference.”

Beyond apparel, Recover has consistently stepped up in times of need. Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina including their home base of Asheville, the company launched small business and nonprofit fundraisers, donated essential products to residents, and partnered with The Arbor Day Foundation and Asheville GreenWorks on tree-planting initiatives along the Harmony Creek Greenway. These efforts highlight Recover’s commitment to resilience and community support alongside its environmental mission.

The Running USA Industry Conference in St. Louis will offer attendees the opportunity to connect with Recover at the Expo Lounge and learn more about its circular apparel model during the Innovation Showcase.
