Registration Now Open for Australia’s Premier Gravel Event

Adelaide, Australia, (July 30, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Today registration opens for RADL GRVL presented by Quad Lock, one of the premier gravel cycling events in Australia that takes place during the 2026 Santos Tour Down Under, January 20-24, 2026. Now in its third year, the popular RADL GRVL event attracts hundreds of professional and amateur riders with participants traveling from more than a dozen countries to experience the picturesque gravel roads of South Australia.

Founded in 2024 by professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, F1 superstar Valtteri Bottas, and GRVL® Events Founding Partner and CEO Amy Charity, RADL GRVL continues to follow the success of the sold-out event, SBT GRVL®, which premiered in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 2019, followed by FNLD GRVL in 2023 which was held in Lahti, Finland, Valtteri Bottas’ native home.

The five-day RADL GRVL festival runs January 20-24, 2026 and offers an action-packed schedule for cyclists of all skill levels. Highlights include ride-outs, a two-day GRVL® expo at Santos Tour Down Under Village featuring top global cycling and outdoor brands, legendary Pro Panel, Santos Tour Down Under Watch Parties, the Valtteri Bottas Sausage Sizzle at Willunga, and a family friendly post race party in the McLaren Vale vineyards of Oliver and Press Winemakers

On Friday, January 23, 2026, Pro and amateur racers can challenge themselves on the approximately 115km Blue Course around the McLaren Vale Wine region and Adelaide Hills, while beginner gravel cyclists can enjoy a stunning 34km tour through the surrounding vineyards..

Shakeout Ride & Pro Panels | January 22

Kick off the day at the infamous Quad Lock Budgy Smuggler ride. Wear your swimmers and join the social spin from the Santos Tour Down Under Village to the Moseley Beach Club for a beverage and dip in the ocean. Return to the GRVL® Expo in the afternoon to catch the entertaining Pro Panel featuring top athletes around the world.

The Ride & Race | January 23
The main event begins Friday where professional and amateur racers can challenge themselves on the ≈115 km Blue Course through the Adelaide Hills, while beginner gravel cyclists can enjoy a stunning and shorter 34km tour through the vineyards of McLaren Vale.

Valtteri Bottas Sausage Sizzle at Willunga Hill | January 24

All registered RADL GRVL riders will have an opportunity to book front row access to the Santos Tour Down Under finish line viewing area on Willunga Hill. Offering a prime

location to the live racing on one of the most coveted spots on course, and food served up by F1 legend Valtteri Bottas. This exclusive ticketed viewing opportunity is offered to RADL GRVL riders and their guests. Spots are limited and will open with registration.
