Quintana Roo Announces Expanded 2026 Professional Triathlete Roster, Highlighted by Key International Signings
April 13, 2026

Chattanooga, TN /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Quintana Roo, a pioneer in triathlon bike innovation, today announced its 2026 professional athlete roster, welcoming 12 new athletes to its ranks. The additions bring the total number of officially supported professionals to 22—one of the broadest sponsorship rosters in the sport.
Leading the 2026 class are four standout international signings: Spain’s Marta Sanchez, Denmark’s Katrine Græbøll Christensen, and Americans Colin Szuch and Blake Bullard. Each arrives with a proven track record across middle- and long-distance racing, as well as rising prominence in global rankings such as World Triathlon, IRONMAN Pro Series and PTO standings.
Marta Sanchez (ESP) joins Quintana Roo following a breakout period in long-course racing. Sanchez has consistently delivered top-tier performances in IRONMAN competition, including podium finishes and top-10 placements in elite fields. Her upward trajectory in the IRONMAN Pro Series rankings underscores her emergence as one of Europe’s most consistent performers, backed by strong bike splits that align with QR’s performance-first engineering.
Katrine Græsbøll Christensen (DEN) brings momentum from a series of impressive results across IRONMAN 70.3 and full-distance events. A steadily rising name in the PTO standings, Christensen has demonstrated balanced strength across all three disciplines, with particular gains on the bike that signal continued progression into the sport’s upper echelon. An early season victory at Challenge Sir Bani Yas is a fantastic bellwether of her season to come.
Colin Szuch (USA). Known for his powerful cycling and aggressive race execution, Szuch has notched multiple podiums in North American IRONMAN and 70.3 events. His consistent performances have elevated his position in both IRONMAN Pro Series and PTO rankings, positioning him as a key athlete to watch in 2026.
Blake Bullard (USA) rounds out the quartet of marquee additions. A U.S. World Triathlon development athlete from Southlake, Texas, who trains with Project Podium in Arizona, Bullard has emerged as a top young elite competitor with results including a silver medal at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games and podium finishes at major international and national races. With an eye to the Olympics, IRONMAN 70.3 and beyond, Bullard is one to watch.
The new signings reflect growing demand among elite professionals for Quintana Roo’s flagship bikes, including the V-PRi featuring class-leading aero advantage and practical in-frame hydration and nutrition storage solutions and the Service Course Tri, a bike with technical pack racing pedigree, and an unmatched aero advantage. These platforms have become bikes of choice for top competitors across the sport—from IRONMAN and Challenge Family events to World Triathlon draft-legal racing—thanks to their aerodynamic efficiency, fit precision, and race-proven design.
The incoming class joins an already accomplished roster that includes:
- Kristian Høgenhaug, reigning IRONMAN bike course record holder (2025 IRONMAN Frankfurt, 3:52:10)
- Grace Thek, recent IRONMAN 70.3 Geelong runner-up
- Jon Breivold, one of Norway’s top cycling powerhouses
- Matt Hanson, Six-time IRONMAN champion and former U.S. National IRONMAN Champion
Together, the 22-athlete roster represents a global cross-section of the sport’s elite and emerging talent, reinforcing Quintana Roo’s commitment to supporting performance at the highest level.
Triathletes can capture some of our top pros—including Høgehaug, Sanchez, Thek, Hanson, Matthew Collins and more—at IRONMAN Texas, being held April 18 in The Woodlands, Tx.
