Ooredoo Partners With Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final To Show Its Commitment To Health, Wellness & Community
October 23, 2025

London, UK (October 23, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) has announced leading Qatari telecommunications company Ooredoo as the ‘Official Telecommunications Supplier’ for the 2025 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, taking place 10-13 December.
Ooredoo’s decision to partner with the event demonstrates its commitment to health, wellness and community as well as building on its successful association with the Doha Marathon.
Leveraging its extensive network presence, Ooredoo will play a key role in creating a memorable World Championship finale. As part of the agreement, Ooredoo will hold category rights across mobile telecommunications, broadband, eSIMs/travel eSIMs, and related services within Qatar for the event, and will also serve as Official Supplier for the inaugural Qatar T100 Kick Off Run.
“This partnership with Ooredoo is not just about support; it’s about shared purpose,” said Stuart Ramsey, PTO Chief Commercial Officer. “Ooredoo has built its reputation by connecting the majority of Qatar’s population, and now they’re extending that commitment into mass participation sport. Together, we’re creating a platform that not only brings the community closer to our first-ever Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final in December, but also enables us to better understand and engage with customers and participants.”
The T100 series is set up to engage participants at every level; from the world’s best professionals inspiring at the top end, through to experienced and committed amateurs in our inaugural T100 Age Group World Championship, as well as newcomers experiencing the sport for the first time through untimed single-discipline events like the new Qatar T100 Kick Off Run. This is how we grow the sport and build value for partners and participants alike.
Ooredoo is set to activate its new partnership across all major channels; online, email, Ooredoo TV, in-app to its 1.5 million+ customers, to unequivocally showcase its commitment to mass-participation sport and the health and wellness benefits that come with that.
By harnessing the star power of its elite athletes and combining that energy with its customers and staff, Ooredoo is forging a holistic partnership. This activation strategy will include a promotional booth at the Doha Marathon on January 16, 2026, and the introduction of a new Qatar Running Pass that bundles entry to both the 5km race and the Doha Marathon. The goal is a unified effort where everyone—from Olympic champions to dedicated employees—is involved in the sporting movement.
“Ooredoo is strongly committed to supporting Qatar’s sporting legacy and inspiring our community to embrace healthier, more active lifestyles,” said Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Senior Director Marketing Communications at Ooredoo Qatar. “Through our partnership with the T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, we’re connecting people not just through technology, but through shared passion and purpose—celebrating endurance, unity, and the spirit of competition that defines Qatar as a global hub for sport and wellbeing.”
