Margaritaville Run Orlando Expands with Inaugural Half Marathon for 2025

Longer Distances, Bigger Celebrations, and More Paradise Fun Coming This Fall

ORLANDO, FL (May 6, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Today, the team behind the Margaritaville Run Orlando announces the race’s return for its 4th year with the exciting debut of the Margaritaville Run Half Marathon — bringing new energy and longer distances to Central Florida’s favorite tropical running event.

On September 27, 2025, the Margaritaville Run Orlando Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will take over the picturesque grounds of Margaritaville Resort Orlando. Alongside the live event, the fan-favorite Margaritaville Virtual Challenge will also continue, inviting runners from anywhere to join the fun.

“Adding the Margaritaville Run Half Marathon was the natural next step for us,” said Jamie Monroe, Race Director. “The Margaritaville Run has always been about blending fitness with fun, and this year we’re giving runners the chance to go the extra mile while still soaking in the palm trees, island vibes, and that signature post-race celebration. Whether you’re racing 13.1 miles or walking the 5K, we’re inviting everyone to escape to paradise for the weekend.”

Participants can now choose between the Half Marathon (13.1 miles), the 10K (6.2 miles), or the 5K (3.1 miles) courses — each winding through the resort’s scenic property of colorful cottages and secluded villas as well as the vibrant shops and restaurants of Sunset Walk.

All runners will receive an exclusive race t-shirt and medal, free post-race Landshark beer, and a mini margarita (21+ only) while enjoying the live music of the post-race expo. Plus, attendees can maximize their weekend getaway with up to 20% off the retail rate and a $25 daily resort credit at Margaritaville Resort Orlando.

Can’t make it to Orlando? With the Margaritaville Virtual Challenge, participants can log miles anywhere, anytime, and collect premium swag, including a Margaritaville Run t-shirt, margarita kit, finisher medal, and race bib.
